In this workshop we'll spend the day in The Cave with retro repairer Mark Fixes Stuff (https://youtube.com/@markfixesstuff) and he'll teach you the basics of soldering to get you started. No previous experience is assumed.
Go from zero skills to a soldering hero with this hands on course that will give you the confidence and knowledge to tackle small repairs and soldering projects
Workshop Overview:
• Learn how soldering “works”
• Get hands-on and try out practical exercises under Marks tuition
• Build and test a working circuit
Prerequisites:
No previous experience is required. Due to the nature of the equipment used in this workshop it is not suitable for children.
The Cave is located on the 4th floor of an 18th-century mill, and there are approximately 40 steps up to its entrance. Unfortunately, due to the listed nature of the building, there is no elevator.
Please note that the toilets are located on the 3rd floor and are only accessible via stairs.
