This is gaming for grown ups who remember spending their youth pumping coins into arcades while '80s tunes filled the air.
Spend the evening at the Arcade Archive enjoying all of our games on freeplay and sipping beers at the pop-up bar. Rollerskates not required, BMX's to be parked outside the arcade!
Explore more than 40 lovingly restored arcades including Pong, Space Invaders and Asteroids Deluxe, use the force in Star Wars and set a high score on Capcom’s crushingly hard Ghost ‘n Goblins, Taito’s deceptively cutesy Puzzle Bobble or Sega’s sun-kissed OutRun? Bash buttons on Track & Field, uphold the law with Robocop and so much more.
Arcade Archive is curated by gaming historian Alex Crowley. It aims to capture the essence of what made visiting the arcade such a special era of gaming while entertaining and educating gamers of all ages.
As seen on national BBC News, BBC Points West and in Retro Gamer magazine!
Arcade Archive is located on the ground floor of the mill. There is a very slight step into the main door, and inside there is a small ramp through a doorway separating the two halves of the exhibit that is 80cm wide.
You are booking to visit Arcade Archive. This does not include entrance to The Cave. Add a visit to The Cave on the same day to automatically receive a discount in your basket.
Please note that the toilets are located on the 3rd floor and are only accessible via stairs.
