The Australian Computer Museum Society was established in 1994.
We store, restore and exhibit not only “computers”, but documentation, software, artwork, history, peripherals and the provenance of the item. We explored the people and organisations behind them with a focus on how they relate to Australia.
Our major initiatives is to record the histories of people and organisations that pioneered, used and developed computing equipment and associated technologies domestically and exported Australian know-how to the world.
Our mission is to display and educate Australians about the history and art of information technology, which today permeates every aspect of our daily lives.
