North Bristol Retro Meet is a brand new retro gaming night for Bristol, bringing classic consoles back to life for an evening of relaxed, hands-on play. Join us in the bar area of Almondsbury Creative from 7:30pm on Wednesday, August 5 2026.

This is a small-scale event that we're hoping to make a regular thing and grow over time. We'll have a small selection of retro game systems ready to go, and you're very welcome to bring along your own retro gaming kit too.

Whether you grew up with 8-bit and 16-bit classics or just fancy seeing what you missed, it's a laid-back space to play, chat, and share stories about the games that shaped us.

If you've got a console you're proud of, a rare curiosity, or just something others should experience, bring it down. We'll have a few TVs available that you can plug into.

You'll find us at the back of the main room, where the bar will be open all evening serving food and drink, including the famous chicken wing deal - a drink and 1kg of wings for just £10.

Although this is an adult event, children may attend if accompanied by an adult at all times.
